"This saw cuts very well and fits in the hand nicely and store for safely wend down"
"This is the perfect saw for cutting those medium to larger branches. Makes a great camping wood saw too!I have had a number of saws, both inexpensive and high dollar types. This is a budget priced saw but could easily match any of my high dollar saws. It is very well made, and uses quality materials. It cuts easily and is comfortable to handle. The handle itself is a looped item where you put your hand inside to protect your knuckles and fingers. You would be surprised at the number of times someone cutting things will foul their hands, fingers and knuckles as they work. WIth this saw you will not suffer that problem. Well, you might but you would have to try real hard to do so.Comes in a nice fully labeled box and includes the saw and a storage pouch. There is a small sheet of paper with some useless instructions also in the box. The saw folds in half and slides into the pouch. Both are very nice, but I would like to see an attachment device on the back of the pouch so I can hang it somewhere. Not a biggie, just something that I would like seeing as this will be used in the yard as well as out camping.Bottom line... I really like this one. You will too."
"This tool is certainly not for anything besides camping and low risk outdoor situations. I’m not sure about “portable” but it does fools up nicely into a large backpack item. It would not fit inside a small bag, so portable is up in the air. It’s definitely more of a last resort tool, but if you took it with you to go camping or something that didn’t require quick cutting or cutting through large pieces of wood then it would be suitable. I have used it to cut through some medium width branches that came down with a tree that fell in a storm in my backyard. Definitely wasn’t the quickest or the easiest solution, but was the only tool I had on hand at the time. It worked, but not without some serious muscle and some time. The blade itself feels a bit flimsy and would snap if you accidentally hit in the wrong spot while trying to cut something. Overall i think it’s good in certain situations, no doubt, but would I buy it again? Probably not. Not the best not the worst. Just does an okay job"
"It is actually pretty big for a compact folding saw but added safety comes with added bulk keep that in mind. the saw itself is very comfortable and cuts through small saplings like you would imagine it would (like a cold knife through cold butter) and if you are prone to accidents look no further there is no way you'll saw a knuckle off with this bad boy."
"A big larger than I expected but it’s ok. My last one, which broke, got in my pouch where this one does not. The only downfall. It cuts well and is pretty sturdy. Overall I’m happy with it."
"Cuts through like butter. I love pruning saws this one is a plus because it folded up like a pocketknife so the blade is safely covered. I’ve had other pruning saws cut through quicker, but this still does the job with little effort."
"I got this saw for camping as it folds up into a slim package. Press a button to release the blade and let the saw open like a knife. The blade locks into the open position as well, and the entire saw is quite solid. The grip is a little odd - a bit big for one handed sawing yet too small for two-handed jobs. The tines on the blade are sharp and aggressive, and can easily cut branches 2-3 inches in diameter or even larger. This saw is great for cutting dead limbs for firewood but could also be used to build a shelter in a survival situation. For the weight and size, every camping group should have at least one."
"I got this Portable Survival Folding Hand Saw to carry in my Jeep. When off-road you run into a lot of fallen trees that’s over your trail. You need something like this to cut them so you can continue going offroad. This is also handy when camping in the Jeep. I used it last week to cut firewood when camping while out in the Jeep camping.I do like the sleeve it comes in and how it folds up for easy storage. The blade seems thin but it’s suppose to be like that. When cutting with it the flex helps out alot. I was worried that it would bend but nope it’s holding strong. It cuts/branches trees smooth. Obviously I wouldn’t cut no giant tree with this but I have no doubt that it wouldn’t cut it. Just take awhile to do it. I do suggest wearing gloves with this. It left blisters on my hands."
"This is a nice saw. It folds well with the blade teeth hidden, and it unfolds easily into a sturdy, sharp saw. The color makes it easier to find if you drop it. It will fit easily into a backpack. This is an excellent item."
